V. Gopikrishna is currently a Professor in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Thai Moogambigai Dental College, Chennai. He is the author of the south Asia edition of Sturdevant's Art and Science of Operative Dentistry. He is the Editor – in – Chief, Journal of Conservative Dentistry and the Co-Editor of Grossmans Endodontic Practice – 12th Edition. He is also the chief contributor for the Textbook of Endodontics edited by Anil Kohli. He is a prolific researcher with nine “Best Paper” awards and more than 45 publication including 14 in international journals of repute. He was conferred the Fellowship Award of the ISDR. He also currently runs the Root Canal Centre – an exclusive endodontic treatment and training centre at Chennai.
