Complicated mathematical formulas and physics part have been minimized. There are limited books on this topic written by Indian authors. There was a need for a QA book by an Indian author which is not only cost effective but also includes recommendations of AERB. A Hindi version of this book will soon be available with incorporation of important English terms.
In addition to the quality assurance of conventional radiography equipments, newer modalities like digital radiography, viewing workstations, CT scan, ultrasound and MRI have been included. Rather than original images, diagrams are preferred for easy understanding and helping students to draw them in exams.
